Social Security Law: Oregon Solon to Push for Seniors Protection Act

Portland, Oregon — US Congressman David Wu has vowed to assert the implementation of Seniors Protections Act at the House of Representatives in November.

The Seniors Protection Act aims to provide a one-time $250 financial assistance to retirees. It seeks to aid the medical needs of senior citizens and offer additional living allowance, reports said.

Wu affirmed that he will propose the implementation of Seniors Protection Act when the House reconvenes next month. He reiterated that such move will provide a safety net for retirees who are most affected by the economic downturn.
