SOCIAL SECURITY LAW: SSA Ranked as Top Federal Agency in Nationwide Survey

Baltimore, Maryland- The Social Security Administration has been ranked as the best managed federal agency according to the 2011 Federal Employee Viewpoint Survey, a statement from its website said.

The survey was initiated by Office of Personnel Management and conducted on 250,000 employees across the nation.

According to the survey, the agency earned the number four ranking in leadership and knowledge management as well as job satisfaction. The former indicates the extent of employees’ regard on leadership while the latter indicates their satisfaction with their jobs.

The Federal Employee Viewpoint Survey measures employees' perceptions of whether, and to what extent, conditions that characterize successful organizations are present in their agencies.
