DISABILITY: Telemarketer Suspended from Business after Requiring Employees to Fake Disability

Riverside- United Handicap Assembled Products, a telemarketing firm which allegedly helps adults with developmental disability, has been suspended from performing business operations and transactions in California after it was determined that the company has employees who are faking mental disorders when selling greeting cards.

According to reports, authorities raided the office and seized business records and computers.

Police said an investigation is being conducted to determine if the company is liable for labor law violations and theft by false advertising and false pretenses.
