Woman Sued for Using Mom’s Social Security Number

A woman in Illinois has pled guilty to two federal charges after she was caught stealing valuable figurines in a store and using the identity of her mother.
The 39-year-old Susan Feaman admitted to using her mother’s name and social security number in order to afford almost $300, 000 purchases and obtain a loan worth $145,000. She was charged with identity theft and interstate transportation of stolen property.
Feaman will be sentenced in February.
